Here are some questions I get all the time:
What is an SASE?
An SASE stands for Self Addressed Stamped Envelope. If you don't send one of these with your request
to the celebrity, then your success rate will be much lower, since they won't pay for the postage to send the item back to
you. Keep in mind that they get literally hundreds of requests a week.
What do I write in the letter?
Tell them of what a big fan you are of them, and ask if they would please send you an autographed picture,
or to sign the one you sent. Remember, to be nice and appreciative.
Where do I get the pictures that I send to the celebrity?
I get them from a number of websites. A lot of the time I go to Google.com and I do an image search. Another
website I go to is allmovieportal.com. They have a great selection of large high resolution pictures. Then I'll just copy
and paste the picture into a word document, center it, enlarge it if possible, and print it out on glossy paper.
How am I able to tell whether the autograph is authentic or not?
A lot of the times, on how I tell is that I compare the pictures I get back signed with authentic in-person
autographs. Most of the time when you send out your own picture and get it back, you can be pretty sure it's authentic. But
then there is the possibility that it could be secretarial.. That's when you compare it with in-person autographs. This part
of autograph collecting can be very complicated, and cannot be explained easily in words. The only help I can really give
you is the stuff I mentioned above, and most importantly that it just takes research and time in this kind of hobby. Over
time and experience you will develop a mental "eye" for determining authenticity. If you have any specific kind

About how long will it take to get the autograph back?
It can take anywhere from one week to a year or two. Usually, it will be faster if you send to older people
who aren't as busy, than a younger person who is more well known and a lot more busy. It took one week for me to get Davey
Johnson's Auto, but TWO years for Chipper Jones'.
Should I say I am an autograph collector?
No, if they think you are an autograph collector, then they probally won't sign thinking you are just going
to use their auto to make money.
What do some the abbreviations on your site mean?
ST = Spring Training Address
VV = Via Venue (a location in which the celebrity will be at ex. movie set,
stand-up, etc.)
ISP= Inscribed and Signed Photo
SP = Signed Photo
PP = Pre-print (Fake or facismile signature)
